This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With these thumb balls, students will be able to work through their mental health challenges and also develop social skills needed to help them become stronger and empowered individuals. Students will benefit from having options to choose questions to challenge their critical thinking and become better communicators. Every time students walk in, this will be an opportunity for community building and ice breaker activities. They will toss and catch the ball. The question that they land on, they will answer it and begin to develop the way they express and communicate. These products will allow students to create a sense of community within their class room and get to know each other more throughout the year.

Students will feel valued and appreciated when their work is showcased and saved thanks to the laminating sheets.

The laminating sheets will help students protect and save their hard work to remind them in the future of their dedication and growth. This will be an activity they will also be able to do on their own and appreciate.

With the certificates, the students will feel recognition and feel a sense of appreciation demonstrated with something tangible. This will definitely encourange and motivate them to continue working hard.
