My Project
I love how eager and resilient my students are, especially as they work through feeding and oral motor development challenges. Many of my students have sensory or motor needs that make eating and self-feeding difficult. These tools—like adaptive utensils, straw cups, bite blocks, and oral sensory devices—will help them build essential skills for safe, independent eating. The calming resources will support emotional regulation during mealtime, creating a more positive, stress-free experience. With these materials, my students will gain confidence, independence, and the ability to participate in classroom routines fully.
