Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The new school year is underway, and as we head into Fall we are ready to jump into some lunchtime fun in the library. I have a long list of art projects planned as well as an Adventures in Bookland club, a Sign Language club, and our Secret Agents of Kindness club. I am excited to be reading and creating with students again, and I know the students are excited as well.
The art supplies will be used to create lovely notes, paintings and gifts for our Secret Agents of Kindness Club and our Holiday Shoppe. We will be delivering little bits of kindness around our school through the club and helping to raise funds for books through the Holiday Shoppe. I have an overwhelming number of students that want to take part in these library activities, and I can not wait to get started!
