This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, we are committed to supporting the whole child—academically, emotionally, and physically. Our school serves a vibrant, resilient community in a low-income area where many families face financial hardship. For some of our students, even basic hygiene items can be difficult to access at home.
This project will help us stock our hygiene section with essential supplies such as deodorant, body wipes, feminine hygiene products, lotion, and more.
These items will be discreetly available to any student in need, helping them feel clean, confident, and ready to learn.
When students have access to hygiene supplies, it positively impacts their self-esteem, focus in class, and relationships with peers. For many of our students, this small support can make a big difference in their daily school experience.
Your generous support will help remove a barrier that no child should have to worry about—access to basic personal care. Thank you for helping us care for our students in the most fundamental ways.
