Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students will gain a better understanding of why and how it is important to protect our environment and our climate. The science kits will help give my students the basic knowledge necessary to understand our changing world. The Dunecraft Sensory Eco-Biosphere Plant Dome will allow my students to have hands-on experience on how to create and take care of an ecosystem. My students will attain the knowledge to make positive decisions for our environment.

Students need climate education in order to develop green skills, adapt to the harsh reality of a warming world, and understand how to combat climate change.

The future is theirs and they need to learn how to be good stewards of our planet. These materials will provide my students with the opportunity to learn about their individual responsibility as it relates to the global issue.
