Supporting EL Students With Essential Classroom Supplies

My Project

To better support my students, I am requesting donations for basic classroom supplies such as pens, pencils, erasers, dry erase markers, a classroom speaker for multimedia lessons, a dustpan and broom for classroom cleanliness, and a portable monitor to help students extend their laptop screens for collaborative projects.

These materials may seem simple, but they are vital to creating an environment where all students, particularly those who are adjusting to a new language and school system, can stay focused and engaged.

The speaker will help bring our lessons to life through videos and audio that assist with language acquisition. The portable monitor will give students extra screen space during group projects, allowing them to share ideas more effectively, which is especially important for EL students who benefit from visual aids and collaboration.

For many of my EL students, access to clear, organized resources can make a significant difference in their ability to learn. Basic supplies like pencils and erasers ensure that they can complete daily assignments without added stress. The classroom speaker will be instrumental in reinforcing lessons with audio-visual aids that enhance language learning. Additionally, the portable monitor will make group work easier for students who are still learning English by giving them more screen space to follow along and contribute.
