Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We love implementing art and creativity in our therapy sessions.

Our most impactful sessions are those where we are all having fun.

We didn't have the opportunity to connect in such a tangible and meaningful way during our COVID-19 virtual sessions.

We have several themes and activities that we do every year that have become traditions that the students look forward to. Many of these supplies (cotton balls, card stock, markers) will be used for activities like our "When I am 100 " project where we target articulation, sentence construction, predicting, sequencing, describing, similes, and targeted vocabulary.

We have also been wishing for a few amplifiers to support our students with language processing and to support auditory bombardment during our phonology sessions.

I work with students from a variety of diverse linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Facilitating engaging and memorable hands-on experiences makes our connections and learning more meaningful and fun!

Many of these materials will be used and enjoyed by students for years to come. We are truly appreciative of your support!
