This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students can answer quick quiz questions and clip their workbook in to take guided notes during classroom discussion. Students engage so much more when they are away from their desk and the temptations of their cell phone. I'm always looking for ways to get students up from their desk and be active in their learning.

Additionally we need more sets of books students will be able to choose independent reading materials and share the stories with their friends.

I've selected books that reinforce themes and ideas already being discussed in the classroom as well as a diversity of reading levels.
