This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their energy, curiosity, and the way they support one another. They come to class each day ready to learn and grow, and it’s a joy to guide them on their educational journey. I want to give them the best possible environment to succeed, and that means making sure they have the tools they need.
Right now, I’m requesting a few key resources that will make a big difference in our classroom.
We’re in need of headphones, as I no longer have enough for every student. These are essential for independent learning, especially during reading programs, educational games, and online assessments. I’m also asking for paper, which we go through quickly for classwork, creative projects, and communication with families.
To support our math instruction, I’ve requested number lines for the wall. These will provide a clear visual reference that students can use during lessons and independent work. Lastly, I’m asking for materials to help create and maintain bulletin boards. These displays help reinforce learning, celebrate student work, and keep our classroom visually engaging and organized.
Each of these resources will help ensure my students feel supported, focused, and inspired to do their best every day.
