This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are part of a 3K program and are 2-3 years old. For some of them, this September has been the very first time they've been in school. They are excited to learn new concepts and share new experiences.
Our children love to explore with their eyes, ears, hands, and whole bodies.
In a reality where we wear masks all day long, they are eager to sing, dance, laugh and build relationships with one another.
My Project
Our 3's class is full of energy, curious eyes and hands. They have been in school for under a month and are getting to know their new classroom, rules, routines, teachers and friends. Help us foster their creativity, independence, and love for learning through open-ended materials. We will use these materials to create classroom books and visuals that will be laminated and last all year long.
The life of a 3-year old can be tough, but we know that as a team we can support life-long confident learners who will be ready to tackle any challenge ahead of them!
With your help, we will provide opportunities that encourage expression, social communication, math and scientific thinking, pre-reading and writing skills.
