My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting will directly support students' comfort and ability to access the curriculum. The low table and floor seats will give children an alternative to traditional desk seating. The chair bands will give wiggly feet an outlet for excess energy thus allowing focus on the material. I've also included visual anchors to support understanding of the lessons.

Students deserve the best conditions for learning: clean air, comfortable seating, and reinforcement of content.

In addition to the physical space, I plan on having small notebooks for each child which will allow students to pause and reflect on positive aspects of their day- freeing up negative energy and enhancing resilience and emotional well-being. Finally, the air purifier, plant stand, and broom will allow us to create a clean and healthy breathing environment for optimal learning conditions.
