My Students

My students demonstrate the definition of perseverance during these trying times. They are patient, responsible, safe, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get back in the classroom like it was pre-pandemic. The students are energetic for learning and wish to better themselves in their education, socially and academically. In their music classes, they are curious, are constantly engaged, and participate by building off of each others questions and comments.

My Project

My students are very eager when it comes to music education, so I would like to expand their knowledge through applications of musical concepts. This is why I am striving to start a fifth grade band program so that way they can start their musical career sooner and have more time to grow through out their public school education.

These materials will be the foundation of the program and equipment that will be used daily.

This program will be one of the first in our counties and will accelerate the music programs in the feeder middle and high schools.
