it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting basic snacks for students who are starting their first year in high school. These 9th graders will be having lunch very late in the day and as you may be aware, it is difficult to remain engaged without being properly nourished in between. I’d like to make it as easy as possible to keep the newcomers happy and comfortable in the classroom by making sure they are sustained. Additionally, I am requesting support in the area of notebooks and writing utensils. As a second year teacher. I recall that by October of last year, some children had already ran out of paper in their notebooks and did not have the means to buy new ones, leaving them to continuously ask for loose leaf. I would very much like to avoid that this year!
