My Project
This year, we launched something exciting at our school—the Bobcat Depot! It's more than just a school store; it's a game-changer for motivating our students. They earn Bobcat Bucks by showing up to school every day and completing their literacy and math lessons. Our goal? To turn attendance struggles into success by making school something students want to attend.
Since we introduced the Bobcat Depot, attendance has skyrocketed!
Students now have a clear path to earning their rewards, and at the end of each month, they get to spend their hard-earned bucks on prizes. But it’s not just about getting cool stuff—it’s also about learning real-life skills. Students practice math by adding up their purchases and subtracting from their Bobcat Bucks, all while making decisions about whether to save up for bigger items.
Sadly, due to recent budget cuts, we can no longer fund the store. But we don’t want this exciting initiative to end here. We need the community’s help to keep the Bobcat Depot going strong and continue inspiring our students to show up, engage, and learn. Your support can make a huge difference!
