My Project

Candy serves as an effective tool for positive reinforcement and boosting classroom engagement! I have noticed that the possibility of a reward increases participation during lessons by a landslide. My goal is to create an interactive learning environment where students feel encouraged to investigate problems, regardless of any mathematical insecurities. Interestingly enough, candy does that!

My students are beyond special for many reasons.

One reason specifically is their dedication our class. Prior to posting on Donor's Choose, most candy has been purchased by myself or the students. I've even had upperclassmen go trick-or-treating soley to collect candy for the class! Rather than purchasing candy for themselves, they are devoted to creating a fun and collaborative classroom!
