My Project

As a dedicated advocate for middle school students’ mental health, I strive to create a welcoming space where students feel safe, supported, and empowered. Many of our amazing and resilient students face challenges that can affect their well-being and academic success. My role is to identify those who may need connections to school-based or community-based supports, but I need your help!

By donating to this project, you will directly contribute to creating an environment where students choose to seek support.

Here’s how your contributions will make an impact:

• Nourishing Minds: Providing snacks and a microwave ensures that students are well-fed, as proper nutrition is essential for cognitive function and overall well-being. When students are nourished, they are better equipped to focus and thrive in their academic pursuits.

• Mental Health Reminders: Mental health stickers will allow students to personalize their belongings with positive affirmations, serving as daily reminders of the importance of caring for their minds. These small but meaningful items can foster self-awareness and encourage conversations about mental health.

• Building Community: Games and fidget toys are crucial tools for building relationships among students and promoting a sense of community. These items help create a relaxed atmosphere, making it easier for students to connect, share, and support one another.

• Focus and Attention: Fidget toys will help students manage their energy and maintain focus during class. By providing these resources, I aim to equip students with tools that enhance their learning experience and support their individual needs.

Together, we can create a holistic support system that addresses the diverse needs of our students.
