This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in a Title I school need high-quality, durable headphones that will last the entire school year because many of them depend heavily on school resources for their learning. For students who may not have access to quiet spaces, devices, or internet at home, school becomes the primary place where they engage with digital content, online assessments, and personalized learning tools.

My amazing 6th graders are curious, driven, and full of energy and they deserve the chance to engage deeply in their math learning without distraction.

With your support, our goal is to provide durable classroom headphones and organized storage bags so students can fully participate in digital math learning, practice math language development, and deeply engage in independent work time to practice math skills to their level. My students rely on technology to access practice math lessons, listening to music for focus, and explore their creativity. Having their own headphones gives them the privacy and focus they need to succeed.

This project helps create a learning space that feels calm, inclusive, and respectful of different learning needs. It gives students ownership of their materials, helps us stay organized, and most of all, it shows them their education is worth investing in.

With this project, my students won’t just hear the lesson, they’ll feel heard.
