This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students, for the most part, come from a neighborhood in a large city in Arizona. They aim to be scientists, technologists, and problem-solvers, tackling real-world issues.

This project supports the soccer team, a group of dynamic student-athletes who strengthen our school pride and work hard in the classroom and on the soccer field.

The soccer team needs new equipment as we begin a new season. We aim to build a program that is adequately supplied for success, and we appreciate your support towards that goal!

My Project

My students need Soccer Balls, Portable Soccer Goals, and Ball Pumps for students to use during soccer practice. By funding this project, you are making sure that each student will have their own soccer ball during practice, and that we have great equipment available for small-sided games. The school will use these resources during the current season and for the years ahead, improving the skills and building the confidence of our student-athletes.

Having enough supplies for each soccer practice allows our student-athletes to grow, learn, and practice new skills.

Without adequate supplies, it can be difficult to improvise meaningful practices.

While our student-athletes continue to fundraise for their uniforms and other soccer season costs, this fundraising effort focuses on the basic necessities of the game. The two PUGG goals allow our students to improve their footwork as we play small games, and they allow us to host fundraising tournaments with small games alongside the larger contest. The ten soccer balls will ensure that each student has their own, as we currently do not have enough for each player. Finally, the ball pumps will ensure that we can keep our equipment functioning and ready for games and practice.
