My Students

Our school district serves 2900 students, with almost 35% of students receiving free and reduced lunch. As a district, it is our mission to provide quality opportunities for all students to achieve their academic and personal potential. To accomplish that goal, students need to become 21st century learners.

My students are collaborative curious, enthusiastic learners.

They often work in the computer lab to learn the 21st century information and technology skills that are required for them to be successful in work, life and citizenship.

My Project

My students learn many information and technology skills such as keyboarding, digital citizenship, and Google tools. When they are in the computer lab, it is important for them to be able to focus on the task in front of them without worrying about their discomfort.

It is vital for my students to practice correct posture when using a computer, and the seating we have now is not conducive to that.

The chairs on my list are ergonomically designed, with a flexible contour shape and lower back support. These chairs will be a welcome and necessary addition to the library computer lab.
