Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our library and media center is an integral part of our small, close-knit high school. It is an exciting place where learning and collaboration occurs daily. Students utilize the space to study, de-stress, work on projects and homework, and print assignments. Our library is also home to our after school tutoring program where students can receive support from peer tutors.
Our students are kind, creative, spirited, thoughtful, and respectful.
They make our campus such an exciting place to work and be a part of. They deserve the best, and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will accomplish!
My Project
Because so many students utilize our library on a daily basis, we really want to make it THE place to go for all resources and information. We have many amazing opportunities (internships, scholarships, workshops, & etc.) that we want all our students to take advantage of. With these brochure holders, we hope to turn our students' attention to all the great things happening on and off campus.
In addition, most of our students utilize our school supplies to complete their daily assignments and projects.
The scissors and tape will replenish our student supplies section so that our students will always have access to the materials that they need.
