This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At WES, we have been dedicated to teaching coding skills to students in grades three to five using Makey Makey kits. These kits have proven to be invaluable tools in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for technology among our young learners.

The hands-on experience with Makey Makey not only makes coding enjoyable but also provides a tangible way for students to apply their skills.

Unfortunately, due to the wear and tear from enthusiastic use, our current kits are in need of replacement.

We are seeking support to replenish our Makey Makey inventory and continue inspiring the next generation of coders. Your generous contribution will directly impact the learning experience of our students, allowing them to explore the world of coding in a fun and interactive way.
