This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have worked at my school site for over 8 years. As a organization we have a social emotional curriculum but I feel there is a need to enhance the supports imbedded in said curriculum. Through the books and tools requested I hope to increase our students ability to self regulate when they feel angry or anxious and provide efficient age appropriate support when they experience grief. The requested resources allows for a different approach than what has been previously used which will give students flexibility to customize supports that best suite their needs.
