it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In third grade the switch from "learning to read" to "reading to learn" is being made. The struggling reader oftentimes begins to struggle in other content areas that previously didn't require as much reading.
Dyslexia is a common misdiagnosed condition found in many classrooms.
With this being misdiagnosed it is often hard for teachers to provide the appropriate supports for these students. This Rocket pen would allow students access to grade level text and content independently.
The students in my class are a unique group of learners. They are all so bright and eager to learn. This tool would allow them all the same opportunities to be successful.
