My Project

My last project on DonorsChoose was for occupational therapy tools that greatly helped my students with their fine motor skills. They love the different activities that feel like more fun than work. Their finger muscles are gaining strength and mobility each day. I am seeing an improvement in their skills.

These tools with further support their fine motor skills specifically as they do more writing and encourage them to use a proper pencil grip.

Unfortunately over the years of teaching, as technology use increases, I'm seeing a huge decline in students' handwriting skills. These tools will really help build some muscle memory for a proper pencil grip!
