This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class decided to have fund raiser. After investigating different possibilities, we decided to help families in need. Just like many cities around the world, our city is experiencing a rise in the homeless population. We want to help struggling families by purchasing backpacks and filling them with healthy snacks as well as items that might put a smile on a child's face. We held a craft sale, and all proceeds will be used to purchase supplies. A donor is donating toy cars, markers, and notebooks.
We need more essential items to help fill the backpacks- so we made this Donors Choose project.
