This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
To put it lightly, our students come from an economically disadvantaged, tough neighborhood. The school is very close to 100% free and reduced-price lunch. Despite the challenges they face, almost all of our students have a positive attitude and want to learn.
I try my best to support them with everything they need to have a successful school year, but I still need your help!
Every student needs a pencil and paper at the very least, and your donations will help provide that and more to students who need our support the most. Thank you so much for considering to support this project!
My Project
Nearly all of my students come from low-income backgrounds, and many rely on their teachers/school for school supplies, snacks, and meals. While we do our best to provide students as much as we can, we still need help. I would love to be able to give all of my students the supplies they need and reward them with snacks for working hard despite challenging circumstances. Having snacks as rewards will boosts student enthusiasm and mood, enabling them to enjoy being in school, which will help them learn. The supplies are also vital as the majority of my students don't come to class with a pencil, a backpack or even paper. Help us keep our students supplied and fueled as they work towards successful futures!
