My Project

The beginning of the school year is a crucial time for students to become comfortable in their new environment and start building relationships with classmates and teachers. Early connections set the tone for a positive, supportive learning experience, and creative activities like “about me” projects and icebreakers play a key role in this process. To make these activities engaging and inclusive, we aim to provide a variety of materials such as origami paper, poster paper, coloring supplies, glue, and scissors. Having these resources available encourages self-expression, sparks creativity, and helps students feel seen and valued. In addition to creative tools, we also recognize the need to support students who may not have access to clean clothing. Zip-lock bags will help in a community project in which it is used to pass out materials or to store items and keep everything organized. Providing clean clothes helps remove barriers to participation, boosts confidence, and ensures every child feels ready to learn. Together, these efforts foster a welcoming space where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
