My Project
My students this year have left a huge impact on me as a teacher, they found ways to improve our classroom with just their spirits and personalities. This group of students was a fabulous introduction to the Pre-K program we are building here!
As I reflect on the year, I think about all of the amazing memories we made, which makes me eager to bring those same memories to students next year!
All of the supplies in this project would greatly improve what students can do in Pre-K. We have books, but nowhere to sit, so need a bench cubby. My dream is to have a reading nook library within our classroom! We made so many paper crowns and crafts that colored cardstock and sentence strips are some of our most highly used items!
I would love to incorporate more sensory items like rice and sensory bin toys, easy puzzles of letters and numbers. I would like to have more health, wellness, and safety things since we do not have direct access to the school nurse; so things like a thermometer, nail clippers, and outlet covers will keep our kiddos safe! Offering snacks is very important to our students because it allows us to grow and fuel our brains for learning!
