My Project

My students are very excited to be joining a new Project Lead the Way Science of Technology program at our school. However, my school is Title I, where many students are unable to have the basic supplies for school and especially carry them throughout the school year, refilling as needed.

Students deserve to have their basic supply needs met to set them up for educational success.

They are getting to experience STEM whereas they might not have those experiences at home. This class is introducing them to STEM concepts such as nanotechnology, solving real world problems, and opening them up to new careers they might have never heard of or been exposed to. These basic supplies of Post-its, notebooks and pencils will ensure they have optimal success throughout their course and the school year.
