Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a high poverty school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch! I have high expectations that they will grow and learn beyond what is expected.

School is a safe and happy place for my students.

Each day, they come into the classroom excited about the day and spending time exploring and learning together. For many of my students, being at school is the best part of their day.

My Project

I am requesting Reading and Writing supply bins and floor spot stickers. With the supply trays, I will be able to put together supply packets for each student. These could be for virtual learning and or in school learning. Having the basic reading and writing supplies for each student will Allow each student to have the same supplies wether it’s home base learning or in school.

The spot stickers will allow all students to know where to sit throughout the room to social distance.

These supplies will help my students to all have the same supplies at home or in school while social distancing.
