My students need supplies for poster based projects and interactive notebooks. Last year, my students loved making posters and taking notes that were creative and interactive.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are unique in that they aren't used to "exciting math." They are used to a typical worksheet with the teacher sitting at the desk. Sometimes they don't even have a math teacher that stays for the whole year. They aren't given the chance to see how math can be exciting and they aren't challenged enough in their potential to do so.
My students are very hardworking and motivated to do well when it comes to having the right resources.
They have so many interests and passions for what they want to do when they graduate, specifically with my seniors. They are fully aware of the world around them, and the disadvantages and obstacles they face to succeed in life. Overall, my students are amazing and will, with the right resources, overcome adversity and triumph in success.
My Project
It's that time of year again to provide supplies for my classroom. My first year was definitely a learning experience and I learned what went well and what I could improve to make my classroom better. These supplies that I have listed are significant specifically for what my students wanted and in the work I will be doing in my classroom. I have so many ideas for my students to succeed and I need your help to do so!
My school and students are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey that occurred last school year, and your help can provide them a quality education despite their challenges.
They have the drive and passion to make a difference in our world, they just need the supplies to do so. Ultimately, the resources they receive will challenge them to become the successful future leaders in society that I believe they will become.
