Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 18 second grade students in my class this school year. They come from a variety of backgrounds and have various needs. The supplies chosen will help with the students' organization as well as awards for my students. These would allow me the option to help my students keep materials organized in order to maximize academic success. Other materials, include decodable phonics cards for differentiated instruction, as well as incentives such as fidget toys. With these resources, the students will gain a valuable lesson that they will use throughout their educational journey and beyond. The goal is to provide this foundation early on, so that they maybe become independent and successful individuals.
