My Students

Hi, I am a 1st year teacher at a school where I have never had the pleasure of subbing at or opportunity to meet the students. On that note - I know every student wants to learn and each student has their own learning style. I am excited to meet my students and see how each shines.

These students live in an agricultural area.

Economics seems to be a factor. I can tell that the children here are happy even is there is an economic disadvantage.

My Project

I am asking for supplies to supplement the classroom. Being a new teacher resources and funding tend to be slim. I have put together some must need items to assist in the classroom. These items will be used for day to day use, such as the whiteboards and highlighters; during group activities (markers and clipboards; and also for group projects (anchor charts, markers).

Some of the items, such as the anchor chart paper, sentence strips and markers will aide in providing visual aide for instruction.

The filing folders will be used for student work.

All these items I feel are necessary for our classroom. All the Best!
