Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies I am requesting are used each day in my classroom. Each morning the students get their primary journals from their chair pockets and begin writing. The chair pockets help students stay organized and know exactly where to find their materials. The primary journals help students keep track of their writing progress throughout the year. These supplies along with the handy pencil holder help ensure that all students have what they need to get started with their day.

My students thrive on consistency and routine.

Knowing what to do and what to expect builds a positive classroom environment. It helps them feel confident and in return keeps them motivated to improve everyday. If from the start of the school year, my students have what they need and know where to store them, I know they will feel ready and thrive in the classroom.
