Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so exceptional and wonderful and all love learning. I love to make my occupational therapy room fun with decorations that I switch out throughout the year and this school year, I am starting my bulletin board off with a woodland animal theme!
The items I am asking for in this project will help my students learn using a multi-sensory approach and help keep them engaged to practice crucial skills for success in and out of the classroom.
We use play doh in our therapy sessions to help with letter formation, and hand strengthening. Legi-liners stamps will help my students with visual perceptual skills and learn to remain on the line while writing. The dry erase boards (a fan favorite around here!) will help us use different modalities to practice our writing skills. And lastly the pop up shape game will help us learn our shapes and help with form constancy skills as well as shape recognition!
Our space is small and the colorful drawer organizer as well as the hanging file folder storage pocket chart will truly help keep my space organized without taking up too much space.
