Our school strives to find the leader in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure to new ideas and experiences. The students in my class academically work hard, respect one another, love their community, and daily encourage one another to do their very best.
My class consists of 22 outstanding first graders.
Of those 22, three are English learners and one in speech. They all strive to do their personal best to contribute to our classroom community.
My Project
Wipe off boards, wipe off markers, glue sticks, and scissors are in constant daily use in our classroom. It is productive and enjoyable for the students to use these supplies in their math lessons, reading, word work, and academic competitive review games.
I am so excited to create a comfortable reading center!
I have a variety of students that struggle with "sitting still" while on the carpet. The cushions and stress rings will allow students to comfortably sit in a "book talk" reading circle and discuss the exciting characters, places, and adventures that reading provides for them.
