Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my incredible 6th graders a much-needed refresh with supplies that keep us sharp, inspired, and ready to learn! Our classroom is a hub of creativity, collaboration, and curiosity — but we’re in serious need of a few essentials to keep things running smoothly.
We go through pencils faster than you can say “pop quiz,” and our current stash has seen better days.
With your help, we can stock up on pre-sharpened pencils so no student is left scrambling when it’s time to write. Colored pencils bring our work to life — whether it's a science diagram or a social studies project — and we rely on them daily to add vibrancy and meaning to our learning.
We’re also looking to organize our supplies with sandwich bags (yes, the humble sandwich bag!) to keep materials neat and projects intact. And let’s not forget our classroom walls — they set the tone every day. Right now, our bulletin boards are begging for a makeover. With sturdy, reusable bulletin board paper and mounting tape, we can finally create a space that feels fresh, welcoming, and worthy of the incredible learning that happens here.
These supplies may seem simple, but they’ll have a huge impact on our classroom. They’ll help students feel prepared, confident, and excited to learn. Every pencil sharpened, every bulletin board refreshed, every project neatly organized — it all adds up to a better learning experience.
