Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are sweet, loving children that mostly come from single parent homes.

My students want to learn and they just need the tools to be able to learn that their families just can't provide for them.

They are in the school orchestra and are learning to play a stringed instrument, which they would never be able to afford lessons, so if it wasn't for this opportunity they wouldn't ever get this chance.

My Project

With these materials we will be able to keep the instruments in good working condition. Through regular wear instrument strings break or wear out and need to be replaced. These funds will provide the students the chance to keep playing and succeeding in orchestra.

These items will help the students continue to learn and feel good about their progress on instruments that are working properly.

The students feel really good about the accomplishments when they have the chance to sound good.
