This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 4th grades are hardworking and determined leaders. They are dedicated to their studies and have the drive to be successful. They love to work with manipulatives, arts & crafts, and many ways to make learning fun. This year, there is a need in the classroom to supply our general school supply storage so that no student will be without pencils, folders, or whiteboards. My goal is for all students to feel welcomed and encourage to participate in the lesson without fearing the lack of supplies in their pencil boxes or in our classroom. We incorporate interactive notebooks in Math, Reading, and Science, so we will need different colored paper, colorful markers, glue sticks, and color pencils to establish our content learning in the notebooks. This method makes it fun for students to learn new things. Students will need expo markers to write on their whiteboards because of the number of Kagan Cooperative Learning Strategies we practice in class. We conduct these strategies to keep our brains and bodies engaged. I would love to have a class set of clipboard for the students to support the Kagan Engagement strategies as well as be able to take lessons outside of the classroom.
