Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have nine special learners who not only learn differently but require a lot of hands-on materials! My students are extremely active, spontaneous, and they absolutely love technology! My students come from different socioeconomic backgrounds and each has their own unique way of learning. My students have experienced a lot of change from being moved from school to school each year. This will be my third year in the unit and I plan to implement and incorporate as much TECHNOLOGY I can.

My classroom motto is, DIFFERENT NOT LESS, because if all you see is Autism you are missing millions of other qualities one person can posses.
This is my third year as an Autism teacher for Dallas ISD and I am seeking support to obtain materials for my classroom.
I have added a variety of things to my cart in order to create the BEST learning environment for students. This also included supplies needed to improve the structure of the day, such as pocket charts, leaf rings, and a mobile organizer. Most have high sensory needs, so, I included items such as Gyrobi fidget sensory toys and a rug to feed their sensory diets, daily. The rock around is a great way to add differential seating to my classroom that will be added to our classroom reading nook. I am eager to get prepare for a new school year and with your donations, I can create a fun learning environment for all of my students!!!
