My Project

My 3rd-grade students work hard and dream big. They are eager to soar academically and understand that progress monitoring is essential to the learning environment. My students recognize that a failure is an option in our STEM learning lab because it means they are trying. They know they will make mistakes but embrace them as learning opportunities. With that being said, their success starts with basic resources.

Supplies like number cards, dice, colored paper, sturdy pencils, and mini Lego people will help my students engage in lessons to improve their overall academic progress.

Studies have proven that when students have engaging and brightly colored school supplies, their grades and classroom behavior improves and they become more excited about school and learning. These are my 'go-to' supplies and have become golden to my student's success. Without them, my students cannot be creative practice skills and be ready to showcase learning through assessments. Due to an old school building, the air is not of the highest quality. My air purifier needs a replacement filter to clear the air which in turn will clear the thinking on behalf of my students. Breathing fresh air makes stimulates the brain while completing STEAMtastic projects. As usual, we will end our third-grade year with a silly string party to kick off the start of an exciting Summer Break!
