My students need these items in order to excel in my class this year!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lede's classroom raised $330

My Students
African American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian... The wonderful melting pot of my kindergarten class. My students are energetic, funny, inquisitive, and strong. They are so excited!
Our school includes low-income students, with 100% of them receiving free lunch.
They come from homes with wonderful parental involvement but minimal resources.
My students are very eager to learn new things. I want to be able to afford them different opportunities to learn many new things by using different materials and different avenues.
My Project
Writing is a big part of our classroom. My students need the primary journals to practice sentence structure. They also need them to get use to writing on lines, as they will be doing this in upper grades. The dry erase pockets are necessary for practice time. In my class, I print different worksheets that the students put into the pockets to practice. These worksheets may include writing their name (if they don't know how), tracing the alphabet, or practicing addition problems. The worksheets given out are dependent on each child's needs. Our classroom currently has Fire tablets, but two of them do not have cases. The students use these tablets as learning tools. I would like to have them covered before the students use them, for precautionary measures. The clothespins will be used for math practice when counting.
Finally, we have breakfast in the classroom every morning.
My students range between 4-6 years old so you can imagine the mess that we have in the morning. I would like to provide each student with a tray they can eat breakfast on and be accountable to clean up after they're done eating.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
