My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges we are facing is providing the correct supplies at home for our students to use while having them work on their early learning curriculum.

My students need resources to learn basic academic skills to prepare them for their future.

These resources be provided as resources for students to use at home so parents can help support with tasks and activities at their specific levels.

A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels/motels. These students and families may not have the financial freedoms to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. By providing these supports, the children are able to work on their deficits at an early age and start bridging the gap between them and their peers.

My Project

Help me give supplies to my students when they are working on their curriculum while at home. Preschoolers already have a hard time working and paying attention to tasks. Help me give them basic supplies at home so they can be engaged and learn.

These basic school supplies, like glue, crayons, markers, and scissors will help my students stay on task and learn.

These resources will help the students show me what they have been learning and be given the opportunity to have the correct supplies to stay on track with their learning.
