My Project

Gifted curriculum is concept based, rather than fact based. Gifted students need the additional support and enrichment to help their minds gain a deeper level of understanding of the world around them. This knowledge is then transferred to other situations and times. For example, we look at Structures in our world. This could be the structure of the brain, how a bridge is built, electricity, coding, technology, etc. Having these skills ensures that focus is placed on concepts that matter to my students and our planet. Analysis of these concepts allows learning and growth to take place.
