This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested supplies for my ELL students will allow them to better comprehend and communicate with staff in relation to our Social Studies Curriculum. The educational headsets will allow students to collaborate with Google Translate to help them comprehend the English language. The translator will also help to provide clarity to directions and frequently ask students questions. The poster paper, colored pencils, and additional supplies will allow students to showcase their creativity and understanding of our Social Studies curricular units by allowing them to create illustrations that assess their understanding of various topics. ELL students particularly build their vocabulary through pictures and illustrations, and these illustrative projects will help students work collaboratively to demonstrate an understanding of each unit.
