Supplies Galore for my Gracious Second Graders!

Help me give my students a head start in their school year with new sharp pencils and brand new composition books to write in! They will love being able to sharpen those pencils with the new pencil sharpener!

My Students

My 2nd graders are from a low income area and do not have the means to purchase supplies needed to help them have a productive and successful school experience.

They use pencils, markers, crayons, composition books, folders, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and any other school supplies that elementary school kids use on a regular basis.

To have basic supplies would mean so much to them. It would make them feel empowered and ready to learn! It would also alleviate the burden of having to worry about where and why they do not have basic needs.

My Project

These materials will give my students a running start on the new school year! When students are ready to learn with the supplies they need it puts them in a positive frame of mind! It enables them to feel empowered and confident! That keeps them wanting to learn and boosts their confidence. No worries about not having a pencil, or a composition book to do their work! With having the basic supplies from the get-go it not only helps students to succeed but it frees up educators' time. If supplies are all there from the beginning then It's definitely a win-win all around!
