This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are individuals who are autistic and require individual supports to be successful in their academics and activities. With assistance, these students are able to show their true skills and passion for the arts. When given individualized attention to their needs and their individualized goals, my students are able to flourish and demonstrate skills that they have learned. Although they may face academic challenges, these students are full of potential and deserve exposure to many life skills that may increase their independent living skills.

My Project

As this crazy school years comes to an end, I am starting to look into our new school year that may resemble some normalcy. It is my hope and goals that we can get more hands on and interactive in the new school year. As for the supplies I have requested, each item will go to helping my classroom stay organized and busy. Storage containers are used to store the material that I make and laminate for each monthly lesson plans. The material is laminated so that we can use the activities over and over, thus I am looking for more laminating sheets. For crafts, I have students who love to get hands on and would love to paint for the school and their families. Lastly, to help with keeping the classroom calm and smelling great, I use an oil diffuser for essential oils in my classroom. Again, everything I'm asking for goes directly to the classroom to help my students with their daily activities. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
