My students need basic school supplies such as pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and dry erase boards to practice and demonstrate what they have learned!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My kindergarteners live in a low-income district and attend a Title I school, where 100% of the students receive free or reduced-priced breakfast and lunch. Scholars are passionate and always excited to learn in a classroom environment that is safe, exciting, and inclusive. I strive to ensure different learning styles are met in the classroom.
For many of my students, providing basic needs to succeed in the classroom will be fundamental to their success!
As an educator, I hope to provide my scholars with the tools to succeed both in an out of the classroom. My scholars are always excited to learn, and your contributions can help them be even more active and engaged in their learning as they grow to be thoughtful and talented individuals.
My Project
Through Supplies for Successful Scholars, I hope to ensure each of my students will have essential school supplies starting from Day One. For my classes, scholars will use dry erase boards to practice the alphabet and counting skills. School supplies like crayons and pencils will be used to help them express themselves through drawing and writing. These basic tools for success will go a long way in ensuring scholars have the needs to succeed in the classroom.
Thank you for your consideration and help.
Students will be better equipped to learn in the classroom through your assistance. My scholars and I are excited to take on the school year and we would greatly appreciate all the support we could get with basic school supplies!
