Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The art supplies are to provide my students with some extracurricular activities and classes that are not offered in their daily schedules. It will give them an outlet to be creative and express themselves through arts and crafts. I'm hoping to use some of my free blocks to teach art classes and crafting courses to my two 6th grade classes. By engaging in arts and crafts, students can explore their imaginations, develop problem-solving abilities, and enhance their fine motor skills. Additionally, these activities promote self-expression, boost self-esteem, and provide a sense of accomplishment. Incorporating art into our curriculum not only enhances academic performance but also fosters a well-rounded education, preparing students for success in various aspects of life.
We also need a mobile whiteboard to use with the students.
