This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students need supplies daily in order to be successful in class. Students often are unable to provide school supplies for a variety of reasons. Oftentimes, students are moving and do not have the resources to purchase supplies. By supplying folders, students are ensured to have a safe location within the classroom to keep important papers. Sticky notes are helpful when annotating text, doing gallery walks and exit tickets. Headphones are a great help as some students need to re-read text and utilize audio features to listen to the text independently. Power strips are always in high demand as students need to charge laptops often; having access to charge multiple devices is key. Having these supplies makes for a stress-free environment. Students are grateful when teachers have supplies and they can focus on learning exclusively.
